The last week that we were in the village of Sipi, Uganda, I had the privilege of traveling to another little town about two hours away known as Budaka, to visit an orphanage I knew of through my Aunt and Uncles church. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of this entire journey. The kids were absolutely precious. When we first arrived, they all came running and greeted us with a song. The whole time that we were there they just wanted to be loved- they wanted to sit in our laps, they wanted to sing songs for us, they wanted to take pictures, they wanted to play with my watch, play with my hair, and just talk to us. Needless to say, they were amazing. Here are some pictures from our time spent with them. To read more about Cornerstone Orphanage, click here.

Monica, Laurie and I. Laurie is a friend from my Aunt and Uncles church and is in charge at Cornerstone Orphanage. She has such a wonderful huge heart for Uganda and these precious children. She also took very good care of me while I got sick when we were visiting. I spent a whole day in her comfy bed! Such a blessing to spend time with her  and Pastor Rogers in Uganda.
Helen and I having a fun conversation over breakfast. She was full of JOY!
Pastor Rogers reading to the kids. The absolutely adore him. They all run straight to him each morning for big hugs.
