            Thursday at 2:15 pm.

            A beautiful baby was born.

I would have never ever imagined that I would see someone else’s child be delivered besides my sister, daughter, or close friend but I got to watch something so miraculous happen.  Six people on the squad got to sit in and be a part of this birth.  I was amazed by how calm the mother, Joslyn Camila, was and how she barely even made a sound throughout the entire delivery.  Just an FYI, she had ZERO medicine in her so she deserves an insanely huge kudos to her.

During the delivery process, we got to fill the room with prayer and cheer on Camila in any way we could.  It is crazy how much you can see God in the miracle of childbirth.  He even cooled down the room with a short thunderstorm that also brought a sense of peace.

After the baby girl was born, the women facilitating the delivery asked if anyone wanted to cut the umbilical cord.  So naturally, I jumped up to help out.  I got to clamp the cord while Alyssa cut the cord off.  This is all a dream was the only thing that was running through my head.   She was small; I am going to guess about 5 to 6 pounds with a full head of jet-black hair. This is a rather short post because it is difficult to find the words to say how breathtaking this experience was.

Oh and just in case y’all were wondering, they decided to name the girl royalty, which in the Philippines means Caley!  They probs do not spell it like mine, but a girl can dream.  So shout out to my parents for knowing I am a Princess.  I will now only be answering those who bow before my presence. : D

The Lord knows you Caley and thought of you when He was taking away your sins on the cross.  I pray that you would seek him throughout your life and know the love he has for you.  I pray for blessings over you and your family.  Your mom is strong and your dad carries cheerfulness with his presence.  Bless them with the ability to love you with all their hearts and give you the life you deserve.  Be consumed by His light that you shine it everywhere you go.  Bless her with a healthy and able body.  Thank you for all you do God.
