I cannot believe that 100 days have gone by since I’ve left for the World Race! With that being said, I put together 100 different things that have happened in the past few months. I hope you all enjoy! 🙂


 

100 things in 100 days

1. Hosted a birthday party with 5 minutes notice. 
2. Had the most challenging and adventure filled 9 hour bus ride of our lives (read ‘7 Things We Learned on a 7 Hour Indian Bus Ride’ blog)
3. Did praise and worship on multiple rooftops.
4. Fit 12 people in a tiny tuk-tuk.
5. Got stuck in the mud in our tuk-tuk while trying to take a shortcut home.
6. Wore a Kurta. 
7. Celebrated India’s Independence Day with our ministry host and the staff. 
8. Ate ice-cream!! 
9. Got lost. 
10. Drank lots of Chai. 
11. Stayed at 3 churches in Indian villages. 
12. Taught English, bible stories, and games to the children.
13. Got Mehndi (similar to Henna). 
14. Got my nose pierced with an ear ring & had to take it out because it got infected. 
15. Traveled to 4 countries.
16. Waited for the road to clear because of a heard of sheep and cows. 
17. Preached for the first time at a church in India.
18. Interviewed people as a part of ministry. 
19. Smacked my head on a shutter. 
20. Swam in the ocean.
21. Sang worship songs in the villages. 
22. Prayed for every member of a church.
23. Cried.
24. Found a dog who I temporarily adopted and named Ace. 🙂
25. Sang on a rooftop while the sunset. 
26. Laughed so hard I almost peed my pants… numerous times. 
27. Had to go to the hospital in India.
28. Got a hematoma. 
29. Went to hospital #2. 
30. Had all squad month in Nepal. (51 people under one roof)
31. Missed home.  
32. Formed incredible relationships despite language barriers.
33. Pretended to take candid photos. 
34. Ate banana pancakes! 
35. Got my nose re-pierced in Nepal with an actual nose ring. 
36. Went on a scavenger hunt in Kathmandu, Nepal. 
37. Prayed for a lady who said a witch doctor cursed her.  
38. Climbed to the top of a mountain to pray over the city of Kathmandu and the country of Nepal. 
39. Visited 2 Hindu Temples. 
40. Grew closer with the people on my team. 
41. Visited the slums.
42. Did ministry in cabin restaurants (women who are stuck in prostitution). 
43. Formed relationships with 3 of the young women we met at the cabin restaurants. 
44. Made prophetic cards and spent a day passing them out. 
45. Did bracelet ministry and gave them away to a bunch of sweet kiddos.
46. Prayed big prayers!
47. Celebrated my 24th birthday! 
48. Found a Mexican Restaurant and ate too much. 
49. Got diarrhea.
50. Praised God when I didn’t get lice even after a good chunk of the people on my squad got it. 
51. Could hardly breathe from spicy food that I ate.
52. Visited Pokhara.
53. Went white water rafting in Nepal.
54. Went paragliding off a mountain and over a lake.
55. Shared my testimony to over 30 young men at a prison. 
56. Went swimming in a pond. 
57. Shared my testimony at church in Nepal. 
58. Planted banana trees. 
59. Stepped in cow poop.
60. Tried to give up coffee… and coca cola. Numerous times. 
61. Had a mudfight. 
62. Played with elephants.
63. Ate with my hands. 
64. Learned a little bit from 4 languages. 
65. Danced in the rain. 
66. Danced with locals… more than once. 
67. Ate a cricket. 
68. Stayed at a hostel and became good friends with the owners. 
69. Ate a huge insect… still not sure what it was. 
70. Learned how to cook Momo’s. 
71. Killed well over 500 bugs. 
72. Got a cavity (says Caitlin)
73. Made all natural medicine for an elephant. 
74. Read ‘Voice in the Wind’ by Francis Rivers. 
75. Dropped my phone and broke my screen. 
76. Went on a search party for a man with Alzheimer’s. (Visit blog ‘One Life at a Time’) 
77. Drank bubble tea!! 
78. Sang karaoke. 
79. Held a boa. 
80. Witnessed 4 young men decide to dedicate there life to Christ at a prison. 
81. Got a Thai massage.
82. Caught a huge spider. 
83. Went to the highest point in Thailand and Kathmandu, Nepal. 
84. Taught swimming lessons. 
85. Saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets. 
86. Ate while sitting on the floor. 
87. Had bible studies each night with our host family. 
88. Got sun burnt. 
89. Lived in a room with 21 girls for a whole month. 
90. Lived at an orphanage. 
91. Slept on the floor. 
92. Used the worlds worst squatty potty. 
93. Met a 103 year old man! 
94. Brought rice and milk to people in a village. 
95. Saw 2 waterfalls. 
96. Cleaned ants off of a ladies feet. 
97. Played hopscotch. 
98. Went to multiple markets. 
99. Road a super fast Ferris Wheel. 
100. Experienced Christ in ways I never have before!
