What’s up everybody!? Just wanted to share a lil testimony that happened over debrief in hopes that it encourages you all!
So we had just finished worshipping and the squad was about to go find people to pray for and while worshipping I was struggling with hearing God’s voice. After worship I paired up with Josh and I asked if he had heard anything and he said that he had a vision of a brown sign. We agreed to find this sign Josh saw in his vision, I felt the Lord remind me of how Caleb in the Bible followed Joshua and was a warrior for him and so I felt like the reason God didn’t show me a location or anything was because I was supposed to follow Joshua. So we went on our adventure to look for this brown sign. After walking for a bit and eating lunch, we finally found this sign. We looked in the shop and Josh looked at me and was like, “that’s him”. So we started writing down phrases that were in Spanish, such as “can I pray for you?” and “do you have any pain in your body?”. I felt like God was telling me the guy had back pain. Once we had all of these phrases down we went up to the shop and bought a churro and the guy from behind the booth came out to where we were standing and we stopped him. To clarify, there were three guys hanging out at this shop and the guy we wanted to pray for was behind the shop. So when he came out we were like this is our time. So we stopped him and we asked if we could pray for him and he said yes and then we asked if he had any pain anywhere and then, get this, he said he had pain in his lower back right where I felt like God was telling me he had pain! So we prayed and then I asked him to try and test if it was healed and he said kind of and so we prayed again and then I had him try it out again and then he put on a big smile and said it was healed! As he walked away I saw him pointing at his back and telling his friend about what happened and he had a huge smile on his face!
I tell you this in hopes you guys are encouraged. God is speaking to us all the time and if we take time to listen, amazing things can happen! He loves us all so much and is actively seeking a relationship with us but we often don’t take time to listen to His beautiful, still small voice.
