As I continue to sit on the mountain and reflect about the mountains and How Great Our God Is, I think about the passage in 1 Corinthians 13:2 “if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.”

I can move mountains, but if I don’t have LOVE I am nothing. This past week I had the opportunity to love the mountains, more importantly love the Nepali people who live in the mountains. Our team lived with a couple local families. Kelley, Hannah, and Daniel lived with a family further down the road while Taylor and I stayed with a woman named Bissnu. We lived life with her, however as guests we weren’t allowed to help out a lot. We loved on her and her son and all of her neighbors. We sat with her while she made meals and cleaned up the dishes. We helped cut branches out of trees to feed her buffaloes and goats, and fetched water. We laughed when we couldn’t understand each and we made funny hand gestures. We played card games and other games like duck, duck, goose with the kids.

We moved mountains by simply loving the Nepali people in the mountains.
