As I’ve lived with these 11 other men for these 25 days there were a lot of memorable things that happened, and a lot of things that came up pretty frequently. Here is a list of 25 of those things.

1. When we worship together, you can feel the devil fleeing.
2. There is an odor all throughout the house all the time.
3. Shirts are optional, and by optional I mean they are almost always off.
4. Games are played almost every night.
5. Peanut butter jelly sandwiches are lifesavers
6. When you got a lot of hungry men, you can get pretty creative with the meals you make.
7. We can make a pretty bomb thanksgiving dinner.
8. You can count on us to break both bathrooms in the house.
9. Scrubba’s are our best friend and only form of laundry this month.
10. We know how to love on special needs residents.
11. You can count on us to break out singing stand by me at any time, especially when one of the residents lead us in it.
12. Living in the Malaysian jungle with no WiFi can actually be really refreshing.
13. It’s was a 35 minute walk to WiFi, so you had to definitely make it worth your while.
14. Vulnerability with men is hard, but so worth it.
15. Movies on hard drives are the biggest form of entertainment.
16. One night werewolf is the perfect way to make all of us come together.
17. We are now expert lime tree pruners and harvesters.
18. And lime cleaners and cutters.
19. Sometimes ministry looks like sitting and watching MMA while holding the residents hands.
20. Sometimes ministry looks like dancing to a Chinese worship/dance video.
21. The residents can turn any of us men soft.
22. We are all leaders, but we all know how to submit to each other.
23. Organization is few and far between in this house.
24. When it monsoons we HAVE to go play in the puddles.
25. Spending time with our brothers is the best way to spend this race.

There are no other men I would rather spend this month with. Thanks for loving me and choosing to press in, even when it’s difficult.

In Him,
Caleb Callaway
