Malaysia has been interesting so far. I think as a goal oriented person, I want linear paths to my goal. Like a step ladder. One step up at a time.

However, God knows me better then I do, and yes I reach all my goals, but instead of the ladder analogy it is more watching an ant on the ground.

Sometimes God takes us the long way around, to make sure we are ready for the next step. So we can be grateful for the next step. So we are better prepared to handle what is ahead.

I feel like this first week in malaysia was alot like that.

In Cambodia my team was in a rough spot. So when Erinn was rushed to the Capital our team was ripped apart. Then in Thailand we worked through some rough spots, yet we were still insulated by being in all squad month… so within the first 24 hours of being all together there was tension again… so God called us out into the Jungle to put us back into the same situation we were in before…isolated, surrounded by bugs, stuck together.

just like Cambodia again.

This time we worked out some disputes, and learned to work together in the nothing. Now we are in the City, working together, waiting on the Lord. And it is crazy to see the IS-WAS-WILL BE (all at the same time)/God work on our behalf.
