God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles
Galatians 1:15-16
We live in an age like never before. Humanity is the wealthiest, most connected, and healthiest it has ever been. Advances in science and technology have brought us into a new age of abundance. Yet there are still parts of our world that are still entrenched in poverty and lack. These countries are progressing at phenomenal rates and will see amazing futures for generations to come.
The Earth is incredible blessed. Over the last 2000 years the Gospel has spread across every corner of our planet. Christianity is exploding in growth across the world, with more than 200,000 people becoming born-again Christians every day (1). Christianity has grown in maturity and wisdom over the centuries, getting to know the Father’s heart more intimately.
However, as many of us know, in becoming a Christian one does not automatically and immediately reflect the Father’s heart towards His children. The Christian walk is indeed a process that requires relationship, fellowship, teachings, and encouragement. For this purpose Jesus has sent His Bride, the Church, the Holy Spirit to lead us in all wisdom and revelation. He has given us apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, and evangelists to build up the body of Christ.
This is the cry of my heart. I want to do this in the time that was allotted to me. As far as the Earth and the Church have grown and matured, there is still a long way to go. It is encouraging to see the legacy our forefathers left for us, and their legacy helps us see what is possible looking forward into the future. There is still work the Bride of Christ must do. There is still maturity and growth to be completed.
We still need to be there for the orphans and widows, we need to be there to educate the least of these on the Earth, we need to provide shelters to those who have none, we need to educate our brethren around the world pointing them to Holy Spirit, Jesus, and the Father. We need to fight human trafficking, bringing freedom to those who have none, and encourage the new believers throughout the world. We need to provide an alternative way of living that produces fruit that gives life, and continue to spread the Gospel of Truth.
From a young age this has been my heart cry. God knew this, even when I had forgotten. He has set my path so that this fate would be unavoidable. As He has illuminated my dreams of old, I have remembered my first love. He has called me by grace to go forth into the Earth and do that my soul yearns to do. Adventure with the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God.
I have been extremely blessed to be raised in the United States of America. Where I have lived free of lack, access to education, and lived a life free of persecution. I feel as if, it is my duty to help those who have not had such freedoms. This is why I feel it is my turn to provide assistance to other Christians around the world. I have been accepted to a missionary program through Adventures in Missions called the WorldRace. The WorldRace spans 11 months & 11 different countries. Adventures in Missions mobilizes people of all generations to follow the call of Jesus through short-term mission trips around the world and at home. Adventures’ short-term trips are designed to provide long-term relationship and care, through partnership with local ministry, adding to what is already done by local people.
I can not do this alone. This can only happen through God’s provision. Please partner with me by clicking the Support Me button at the top of the page. Together we can see God do amazing things.
