Southeast Asia was hot and humid. As the rest of my family and friends in the United States were suffering through winter, Christmas in Malaysia was 98 degrees fahrenheit.
Africa was warm. Africa was wet but it was still short and tank weather.
So by the time we arrive in Eastern Europe for the start of spring. But because we had travelled through 8 months with only the need for a travel day sweatshirt, we had no warm clothes.
Eastern Europe was cold! especially when we got there.
