Thursday nights I go to a coffee shop/church about 15 minutes from my house. Every Thursday we have this thing called “The Call”. Basically, The Call is a time where a few people live stream a conversation about a certain topic.

Side note: Coffee is good stuff.

After The Call ended we were all just hanging out at the coffee shop and I’m talking to my friend Kyle. Kyle begins to over hear the Pastor of the coffee shop/church talk about a recent doctor visit he had. It turned out that he had arthritis in his shoulder. Kyle walks over and says, “Whats the pain level at? Does it hurt?”

Pastor began to move his arm and says that it only hurts when he moves his arm. Kyle (a very God driven guy) asks him if we could pray for it. Pastor said yes, and then Kyle turns to me and says “Pray for him, man”.

We start praying, declaring healing over Pastors shoulder, then I ask “whats the pain level at?”

No change.

We pray again, and after that we see a bit of change, and Pastor was getting pumped about it.

We pray again.

More movement in his arm. At first he wasn’t able to lift his arm past his shoulder line. At this point he can raise his hand maybe to the mid-head range.

We keep praying, and we keep seeing progress.

Wow.

This is where it got to me.

After praying maybe 6 or 7 times over his shoulder, he was able to move it up, down and sideways! All he needed to do now was stretch those muscles and tendons.

He then gave each of us a hug, and he kept saying how good his shoulder felt. He told us he hadn’t been able to hug someone since January.

January.

He then gave everyone in the coffee a shop a hug and there I was, grinning from ear to ear because I was so pumped! that is beautiful! He told us how excited he was to hug his wife since he hadn’t been able to do so for 5 months!

Isn’t that Awesome!? I feel like I cant give it justice by typing it! That is the power of God! I am humbled and honored to be able to serve such an amazing God. When we pray, things happen, we see results. We may not see it in the moment, but we can trust that God knows whats going on, and he wants to be there with us.

Can you believe that? The same God that created the entire universe wants to be with you.

That topic is for another blog, so keep a look out for when that one comes!

If you want to hear me tell this story in real time go ahead and ask me about it, I’m super stoked so I wont hesitate to tell you all about it.
