Hello every one.
Good times here in Albania. I thought I would share what the Lord is doing here in Kombinat.
Things are becoming clear to my team and I that we are here to show the life that Christ gives to us. Our job is to simply point people towards Jesus. It was easy to over-complicate my job here. Thinking I had to do things in a specific way or I wouldn’t make an impact. Kind of selfish. I was focused on what I can do to make myself think that I did something. Any thing that we do for others should have the priorities of loving them and pointing them to Jesus.
I am finally realizing that my life is here for now and my home is in the Lord.
My team and I are growing very close with the young adults in this community and it is awesome. They are hilarious, personable, and a joy to be around. It will be a difficult goodbye. I am very excited to see how their lives unfold and how their relationship with God progresses.
We had the opportunity to climb a mountain the other day with our friend Xhoni and we became much closer by doing so. The mountains reminded me of home and it was very refreshing.
