Have you ever heard the song called “These Words?”
This song is about a girl who doesn’t know how to tell someone she loves them. Finally she decides she can only say “I Love You.” Than she says “I love you” 44 more times in one song. I always thought it was ridiculous until now, but I need to tell you all thank you, and I can’t stop saying it.

Honestly, I don’t know who these kids are,
but they are hitting the point right on  =)

As you all know, I have been sending out my missionary letters to raise prayer and financial support for my upcoming missions trip.

This has been a hard process because it involves LOTS of faith, and TONS of humility.

The truth of the matter is that if I can not raise 15,000 dollars, I can not go serve God this next year. So by committing to this missions trip, I had to trust in God that He would provide the money. AND PRAISE BE TO GOD THAT I AM 60% OF THE WAY THERE!!!!

I am really bad at computers,
but the green is how much money has been raised.
YEAHHH!!! GO GREEN!!!!

The next thing I did not expect was to be overwhelmed.

I have given to missionaries before, but I never realized what the asker is going through. They have to humble themselves and say “friends, I can not do this by myself. Please help.”

It was hard for me to admit that I needed others help and it was a scary thought knowing that if other people didn’t answer that call, this trip would not happen. BUT YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN SO AWESOME.

There have been many nights when I go online to check my fundraising progress and I am left speechless because of the donations. There are very generous people out there. I have been astounded from the friends in college giving 100 precious dollars that they really need for a late night Chic-Fil-A run, to the generous donations of families. And some of the most blessed donations I have received are from kids in my youth group, or people who can only give 10 bucks, but they do so cheerfully because they want to further the kingdom of God.

Thank you so much for giving whatever you can afford!

So thank you. Thank you SO much because this isn’t my trip. This is OUR trip. This is everyone coming together as a family, as one body, supporting each other to go out into the world and take a stand for God.

I love you all so much.

I am in the process of sending out my thank you cards, but please know that there are some emotions that can’t be described in words. The best I can do is say thank you.

So once again: Thank You

God is Good All the Time

Your friend
