I typed in “American Dream” into google and these were the results.

  • America is a land of freedom that includes the promise of prosperity (Wikipedia)
  • The American Dream is “that dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone… (Govlessons.org)

The American dream has 2.3
 kids, a white picket fence, and a well secured job in a growing industry, or better yet, a company out of your own home where you are the boss. That is bliss.  That is success.

And yet what eternal value does that hold?  I am not saying business is wrong. I am not saying it is bad to have nice things. 

But what if we took that chance?
 
What if we leaped out in faith and where willing to look out for the benefits of others before I secured my 401K. 

My friend Jake made a video about the ministry we have been working at.  

These are the faces. 
These are the numbers.
These are the girls who were SAVED FROM SEX SLAVERY.

This clip is of Carl.  A man who heard God’s call. He didn’t know what was going to happen. He didn’t know why he was being called.
 He just knew that God was saying to let go of “American success” and see the great things I have in store for you if you are willing to take a chance. 
 

So please watch.    Please take a moment to just see the beauty of these girls. See their happy faces. See the joy that is in them because they have a LIVING relationship with Jesus.
And then think about this. 

God’s command to Christians is to “feed the poor, heal the sick, take care of the orphan and widow.”   Are you acting?
Jesus says “Store up your treasures in heaven.”   He never mentions a 401K.


The reason this hits me so hard is because SEX SLAVERY is the largest form of slavery in the world today, and millions of kids are being pulled in every year. And if it wasn’t for a man who was willing to give up his american dream to be apart of something greater, than these precious girls would have been 54 more girls added to that statistic. 

But these girls were saved because ONE MAN wanted to be apart of GOD’S PLAN.

He’s nothing special. Just like I’m nothing special. But God is, and God is doing amazing things. I am so honored to be apart of it, and this ministry at Remember Nhu is more than any dream American Dream I could ever have. 
I’m done dreaming. It’s time we live it.
