First:I’m sorry I’ve been lacking in the blog department. I have no excuse. It’s been busy here, but that is nothing new. Part of me has felt that there hasn’t really been anything to write about. No insane shows of faith, no crazy healings, no dangerous missions. We wake up, do work, play with kids, eat food, sleep. Our days aren’t that weird or unusual. Tiring and exhausting, but in a weird way completely normal.
We did have a bit of excitement last week however. But not in the good kid of way. We lost a team member last week. And by lost I mean she decided she wasn’t supposed to be here anymore and left for home. Then after that not one, but two team members(including our team leader) contracted Dengue fever. Meaning they were bedridden, feverish and all around sad to look at. They have been better this week, able to do work, but for a few days it was just 4 of us working, teaching kids, and watching the skate ramp. It was a rough few days.
And now to Nicaragua…
