We’ve spent the past two days supporting local churches as they’ve come together to have family days in the park. My World Race team and I have sung songs, taught English and done crafts, building relationships with locals and sharing about Jesus. Here’s a quick video about it and the heart behind why the local pastors wanted such an event to happen.
Love you and Jesus loves you more, Caitlyn Buell
Prayer Requests:?Today starts CAMP. I have an incredible opportunity to be a leader for the 10 year olds with a Ukrainian brother in Christ. Today’s lesson is on Creation found in Genesis and they’ll be free time where I’ll have an opportunity to teach English while talking about Jesus. We had a meeting last night with all of the staff for camp and I’m beyond excited. Camp. Teaching English. JESUS? Ministry this month is playing on all my strengths and I’m incredibly grateful.
Pray for children’s hearts to be open to the Gospel. That we love the children and each other well in ways that reflect the Father’s love. That language barriers aren’t barriers to the Gospel. (Lol, I’ve got Hi, I love you, God, Good and Good Job down right now and eager to learn more Ukranian)
Praises:
Sharing my testimony on Sunday went incredibly well. It was my first time preaching with a translator and I’m so grateful that the Lord provided her. I was one of the first to speak in church and throughout the service some of the themes I touched on were brought up again and again in others sermons.
Family Day in the Park was an incredible opportunity to share about Jesus and come alongside the body of Christ, believers, here in the Ukraine. We got to love on children and families in creative ways. Local churches from different cities in the area came together and the way they shared resources, their time, their people and their hearts just so reflects the Father’s heart and what Heaven will be like.
