First of all, I deeply apologize for my lack of updates over the last few weeks. We have all been very busy here in Greece and time has slipped by. So in hopes to help keep me accountable on blogging I am creating a posting schedule.

New Post Sunday! – To start off the week, I will be sharing a post about what I am currently doing that month. It may be a written blog, a picture blog, or a video blog!

Tunes Tuesday! – Music is definitely one of my passions and is a way God speaks to me. So I thought it might be fun to do something a little different. Every Tuesday I will share a song that I either love or has been speaking some truth to me in some way. I will share a little about the song and how it has been impactful or its meaning and then share the song itself so you can listen! I’ll also be creating a Spotify playlist of all the songs (plus some more!) so you can listen to the wonderful music whenever you want. So cool!

Throwback Thursday! – These will all be posts about months past. I have so much I still need to share all the way back from training camp through our first two months on the field. Much like Sundays, these posts may come in different forms, but they will all be about past experiences that I believe are still important enough to share.

I am so excited to change my blog up a little bit and to bring a little structure in as well. A huge reason why I wanted to go on The Race was its focus on keeping friends, family, and supporters in the loop as well as using this platform as a ministry opportunity, so I don’t want to waste any more time! And as always, don’t be afraid to send me an email if you’d like to hear some more about what we’re doing or how I’m doing. ~[email protected]~

SO! Without further ado, let’s start this schedule today, since it is Tuesday. And Tuesday means a tune! This week I am sharing, “The Hammer Holds” by Bebo Norman.

I heard this song weeks before I left for the race and I knew that it would be my theme song for the year. This song is all about how God shapes us.  How it hurts while being formed into what God planned for us to be.  How it can be difficult and challenging, but through it all we shouldn’t worry because God is holding the hammer.  This song has been a wonderful reminder that I am being molded and formed to be used for the Kingdom.  I don’t know what I will be or how I will be used, but’s okay because my Maker is in control. Please take a listen to this beautiful song and let me know your thoughts!
