The past 5 years have been a journey of learning how to trade in fear for faith. The Lord called me into an adventure but the fear of losing comforts, conveniences, and luxuries kept me paralyzed. I did not want to trade those in for challenges, sacrifices, and at times risks. I have been running from God’s calling on my next chapter, but by His grace He never gave up on my wandering heart. Last year God spoke directly to my heart when I was in the back row of a conference called the IF:Gathering. He showed me that running had me more exhausted than surrendering my fears to Him. Fast forward to August of this year, He allowed doors to open for me to take a class called Perspectives. Perspectives has been this overwhelming sense of confirmation and peace for me when it comes to my next steps of obedience.

With great humbleness I am thrilled to share with you my next chapter in life. In August of 2017, I will be launching on the World Race. The World Race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. I will serve as a missionary through an organization called Adventures in Missions (AIM). On the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with local churches and ministries in the communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution, and bring the restoration and hope of Jesus Christ’s love to many tribes and nations. I feel inadequate and unworthy for this adventure, but I am so grateful the Lord has invited me into His mission of redeeming the world back to Himself.

Will you prayerfully consider partnering with me on this journey? One way is financially. The cost of the trip is $17,617 which covers all of my expenses on the field. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as a monthly donation. You can make those donations online by clicking the “donate” button at the top of my blog.

Another way to come along side me in this journey is prayer. I cannot express to you enough as to how important prayer is for this journey. Pray for the people of India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. Pray they will taste and see that the Lord is GOOD, and will be forever changed because of it.

I look forward to this next chapter of my life and taking you on the journey with me. Stay tuned into my blog and social media accounts for stories, pictures, and how the Lord is working around the world all while working on this Texas girl’s heart throughout the race.

Going because they haven’t heard the Name of Jesus!
