I have been on the World Race for 51 days. 51 days to see the miracles of Jesus right before my eyes. I have seen demons cast out. I have seen people speaking in tongues. I have seen Jesus Himself in the eyes of children. I became so focused on what God was doing right here in Nepal, I forgot He is much bigger than that. My God is not bound by time or space. While He is diligently working in Nepal, He is doing just as much work in the States. He is pursuing hearts all around the world and He captured one heart in particular this week that wrecked my world.

On September 18th I wrote a small but bold prayer for a 21 year old young man in Arlington, Texas. I pleaded with God to capture his heart. To put people in his life that would point him to the Lord. That he would fall in love with Christ and His church. I declared that this day would happen, and that I would faithfully wait in eager anticipation to see God blow up his heart. Then two days later, the Lord put it on my heart again to pray for him. So on September 20th I interceded even harder… asking God, begging God to speak to his heart wherever he was at. To reign down salvation on his life. Proclaiming over his life that there is a seat at The Banquet Table specifically with his name on it, all he had to do was accept the invitation.

The Lord heard ever single word I was shooting up to the heavens. He was already working, already probing at his heart. Around four in the morning, my little brother finally gave his life to Christ. God will use who ever, when ever to bring redemption to the lost… and that is exactly what He did for Mason. Mason was at work, and got into a conversation with a co-worker who was a pastor in the daytime. After about an hour chat, Mason without hesitation accepted the invitation.

Y’all, I am in awe!! My God won the battle in my little brother’s heart. Victory reigns! Grace wins. Mason Cole Carpenter is written in the Book of Life forever.

Mas, if you are reading this somehow…. I am so proud of you. There is nothing more joyous. Knowing Jesus will bring meaning to your life even in times of great darkness. I promise you, just as Jesus does, that you will have trouble in this life. I can also promise you that the God you surrendered your life to will NEVER leave you and will never be intimidated by what this world dishes out. He has created you so uniquely with gifts and talents others do not have. So use what God has given you to make your mark on this world – a mark that looks a lot like the light of Christ. I can’t wait to journey with you through this. I love you little bro.

Friend, God is working. God is capturing hearts all around this globe. He doesn’t discriminate against color, country, past mistakes, or even religion. We serve a God that will leave the 99 to chase after the one. And today, I am SO thankful He left the 99 for my one. So keep praying for those family members and loved ones. God will not relent until He has them all… and may we not relent in praying until that day comes either.
