welcome to my World Race blog
My name is Caitlin Brock, I am 23 years old, and I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Duuuval! I graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s of Health Administration. I was truly blessed to grow up in an incredible family with parents that taught me from a young age about the love of the Father and the sweet gift of Jesus. My parents laid a really great foundation for me to fall back on when I strayed from the Truth. I am thankful for the relentless love Abba has for His children. Jesus has pursued me endlessly as I have taken many twists and turns in my life and tried to write my own story in different seasons. I have made many many messes in life, but dang the Lord is gracious and faithful even in the mess. He has transformed my life, He has turned my ashes to beauty, He has brought me from death to life, He has restored and renewed it all, and He’s not done yet! I desire to share that same hope and transformation to all I encounter and I am so excited to get to do that all over the world this year with the World Race. Follow along as I use this blog to share the testimonies of how the Lord is moving in and through me and my squad as we travel the world!
Here are some of the things that I love:
- my kitties – Tofu, Little Man, and Mango (yeah that seems like a lot of cats, but my roomie and I co-parent them so it’s fine??)
- the beach and swimming in the ocean
- documentaries on literally anything
- fresh picked flowers and eucalyptus
- rooftop bars with a nice strand of twinkly lights
- anything wicker or rattan
- farmers markets
- my home church, Ocean City Church
- traveling and exploring
- good local food (bonus points if it’s vegan)
