Jeanette shared with us what God had been speaking to her heart during a 3-day fast this month: the men or all ages and generations! Please read her story!

First, I want to apologize. Guys – I’m sorry I’ve lived most of my life afraid of you. Instead of approaching you and loving you as sons and princes of the King Almighty I stayed in my assumptions and stereotypes. I’m sorry I rarely took the time to really understand. I’m sorry I held your pasts against you. I’m sorry when I didn’t stand up for you. I’m sorry I clump you together instead of seeing each one of you as a uniquely strong individual made to bring Kingdom to earth. I’m sorry I allowed you to settle. I’m sorry I missed opportunities to pray for you. I’m sorry when I didn’t allow you to help a sister and serve as you ought to. I’m sorry when girls and women cut you down to a piece of meat – you’re much more valuable than that. I’m sorry when I see women refuse to submit. I’m sorry that women manipulate and judge and lie and gossip and hold grudges.

So, we want to pray for you men. Jeanette’s heart was to lay aside a day in pray and fasting for our brothers around the world – and after 8 months of traveling we’ve met a lot. Our prayers are to encourage and love you. To listen to God’s voice about the passion He has for you. So we pray for a covering of God’s direction, men to come around each other to build a community of accountability, freedom from the past, strength and hope for the future, covenant bonds of brotherhood, wisdom in the Scripture, truth to reign in the hearts, and power and passion to fuel the fires of the warriors that will bring Kingdom! We love you guys!

Join us! APRIL 30, 2008. Please join us in prayer and fasting for the men, young men, and boys you know. Let’s see some fighters on the front-lines in the battle for the name of Christ. Tell others and feel free to share this blog with them.

And a special thanks to the brothers on the Race, spiritual fathers out on the field and in the states, and my family and friends who have loved, supported, and challenged me.
