Wow! This past Saturday we got to be part of Bohol’s second annual Celebrate Jesus 2007 – We are the Reason! (We are the reason that He gave His life, we are the reason that He suffered and died…) 2,500 tickets were sold to pastors of the island, their congregations, and recipients of ICM’s feeding and medical programs. There was worship, give-aways, preaching, food, special music, contests, and lots of happy Filipino people. 15 staff even came from Dumagete’s ICM base about 2 hours away. With a bunch of people helping out in the cool red shirts Heather, Becky, and I kinda just did our best to smile and help in any way we could think of. This was just another time when my camera has entertained some down time for me. I ran around the gymnasium all day capturing the joy, laughter, and music celebrating Jesus. I felt like I was back at work. I really enjoy the combinations of programming and relational ministry. The people here are so beautiful! Our time here has been a blessing just to be a part of the growth of the Lord’s work through ICM.
