Hey everyone!
I hope you’re all staying warm and listening to Christmas jams 24/7! My team has been blessed with a WONDERFUL Ugandan family this month. As I’ve mentioned earlier, we are staying with a pastor and his family- including some cousins and many others are at the house…even if they don’t live there 🙂 They have made us feel completely at home by taking care of our every need and more- I can’t even describe how happy they make me.
As a team, we have decided that we’d like to thank them with some gifts for Christmas. We realize that it’s only a few days away, but God can do big, amazing things, right? So, we’ve started making lists of things we can purchase for our Ugandan family- clothes for little ones, burning CDs for the cousin who LOVES jamming out to my iPod as he does chores around the house, jewelry or nail polish for the girls, etc. They have just blessed us so much, we want to give back.
Now, we’re asking for some help. I know that you’ve all been INCREDIBLY generous by funding this entire trip- something I could have never imagined, and something that I’m eternally grateful for. As it is the holiday season, I’m asking for just a few more dollars for our family. We’ve set up a PayPal account, and if you would like to help us make this Christmas even more special for us and them, please consider sending a few dollars our way! Seriously, just $2 can buy a TON out here! That’s less than a tall latte at Starbucks (or Classic Bean or Blackbird for my Topeka friendies).
Please consider clicking on the link below (Pray that the link works!!) and sending a few dollars. We will be sure to post pictures of our Ugandan family after we give them the gifts.
THANK YOU, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I don’t anticipate getting internet again before Christmas, so I’ll send my wishes to you a few days early! Have a very merry Christmas, everyone!
xo, Cait
