I have only been in Swaziland for a week now. But within the first two days of my time here God has given me such a simple reminder…. He's always on time! I feel like this is such a simple thing but yet it seems forgotten.
For our time here in Swaziland part of out ministry is going on house visits. Where we go to some of the locals homes and just see how they are doing and what needs we can help with them. The first house visit I went on we went to a woman's home named, Dodo. Dodo's house is out in the bush where she lives with her two sons and her Gogo (which is grandmother). Dodo has Cancer, which makes her need to have colostomy bag. When myself and a few of my team members went to go visit her to deliver her some more bags, Dodo was telling us that she had ran out of bags and no way of contacting us because her phone was dropped in water. She also was telling us that her and her family has been without food for quite some time. So us coming to visit when we did was perfect. We were able to provide the colostomy bags that Dodo needed and food for her and her family. We were also able to give her scripture to encourage her that God has not forgotten her. This was the first little hint to me that God was reminding me that He's always on time.
Then later that day in our team time a few others were sharing that when they went on there house visit to another Gogo, were they were bringing the Gogo food for her and her 14 grandchildren. And how it was perfect timing for them as well that they were bringing this food to them because they didn't have any food what so ever.
After hearing this story from my other teammate, I just knew that God was reminding myself and my teammates that HE'S ALWAYS ON TIME! It was perfect that He was reminding us of this now because myself and my squad have a finical deadline for our Race by the end of this month. For my squad each of us needs to have $11,000 in our accounts in order to continue here on the race. As all of us have been praying, worrying and are concern if the money will come into our accounts we need to remember that God is always on time! He will be on time in having all of our accounts full enough for all of us to continue on the race. I know he will! I know that in his perfect timing He will provide for myself and my squad.
Even though I know He's always on time, I would love for you all to keep myself and my squad in your prayers with all of our finial deadlines.
