Dear friends and family,
I honestly cannot believe that I'm sitting in my hotel room at 120AM on THE day that I'm leaving the U.S.!
Launch has been an incredible experience…moving worship, great atmosphere, best friends, AIM Staff BRINGIN' IT with some wonderful messages..and the list goes on. These few days have FLOWN by.
I don't really have a lot to say on this blog, but I wanted to post one last one before we left the states! This is actually setting in that we are LEAVING for 11 MONTHS!
We're ready. We are. We're a generation who's NOT satisfied with hearing about what God is doing in the world…we want to SEE it and BE A PART. It's not enough for us to tell people the Gospel, we're about to LIVE OUT the Acts church.
Tonight our squad coordinator and squad coaches spoke life into us, in Jesus' name. They confirmed we are all here for a purpose..it's not coincidence.
This year is all about what WE make of it. It's about our attitude. It's about remembering the little things to be thankful for. It's about being intentional. It's about loving others well. It's about giving grace to others when that's the last thing we want to do. It's about being vulnerable. It's about being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Thank you so much for following me on this journey and keeping me in your prayers. Please continue to pray for all of us as we travel TOMORROW from Chicago to Hong Kong to Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Krai. Please start praying for our ministry. This month my team of 7 and I will be doing street ministry. It sounds kind've vague, but what we will be doing is forming relationships with the people in the community. We will love by our actions and our words.
To my supporters: I wouldn't be here without y'all. Words cannot express how thankful I am. So blessed.
Next time I blog, I'll be in MALAYSIA!
