Dear loved ones,

I'm currently sitting in an internet cafe in Kuala Krai, drinking some delicious strawberry mango icey drink!  It's a rough life, ya know? πŸ™‚

We arrived in KK on Monday afternoon around 4pm after about 40 hours of travel.  Yep, that's right FORTY HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!! My body was so off, but I think we're starting to adjust! πŸ™‚

Once we arrived we met our contact, Rev. Yesuhdahsan.  He showed us our accomodations for the 3 weeks we are here!  We are spoiled this month.  It is incredibly humid here, and we are blessed enough to have AC in our bedrooms.  It's a cute little apartment/hostel area above a Chinese Presbyterian church.  Don't worry, I'm taken care of this month..thanks God! πŸ™‚

Monday night we went to the Rev.'s house to eat dinner and discuss the month of ministry here.  This month we will work at the church's land every morning from about 7-930am…just doing what needs to be done, manual labor wise.  Like this morning, we shoveled dirt for a couple hours.  I'm gonna be honest, I had to pray constantly while we were working because shoveling dirt is not my favorite thing in the world and I kind of came into with a bad attitude.  Turns out that even shoveling dirt with my team is entertaining..we can laugh about anything!

This afternoon we will be doing a "tutorial", and from what I've heard it's kind of like English lessons with the locals.  More on that later πŸ™‚

Tonight there will be a night market that I'm seriously so pumped to experience!

Last night we went to church and worshipped.  It's so neat hearing songs and prayers in other languages..you can seriously just feel the spirit of God in those moments, not even caring you can't understand a word.  God is so good.

I think that's about it for now…y'all are pretty well caught up to date on Caitlin in Malaysia!  We will be here until the 27th-ish, and then we will bus back to KL, and then from there take a train to Singapore where we will fly to Australia!  Not trying to get ahead of myself..just letting y'all know what's to come!

Please continue to pray for my team (Team Braveheart) as well as the rest of my squad (50-ish others) who are spread out across Malaysia!  Can't wait for that reunion to hear the good that God is doing in other parts!

I can't say how thankful I am for the love, support, prayers, and encouragement shown towards me…this is real life, I'm on THE WORLD RACE!

love you all!

xoxo,

Caitlin
