Fundraising is sorta like a huge mountain. Its a hard and long climb, but eventually, you’ll reach the summit. Right now, its been particularly hard. With my next deadline needing to be ten thousand dollars, I would say I’m kinda stressed. It is no easy task. But with the help of some wonderful and amazing people, I am getting there!! It is quite a large sum, but I know God is faithful and He will provide. I just need to trust Him and do my part.
I am just about at 30% funded! Its so amazing! I would like to thank everyone so SOOO much for donating! This trip wouldn’t be possible without the help of others, so thank you! Thank you for your generous and kindheartedness towards me! I am truly grateful! 🙂
Even though I am still raising financial support, I need prayer support as well! If you’re a prayer warrior and wouldn’t mind adding my squad and I to your list, I would be so ever thankful! These upcoming months and weeks are going to be filled with trials and discouragement, but they will also be filled with awe and wonder of Christ! If you could pray that we will be trust in God and not ourselves and for the people in the countries we’ll be visiting.
In about 48 days, I have training camp! ITS SO CRAZY! I have just begun to buy some of my larger items that I will need for my trip. I have picked up my backpacking pack (Osprey Ariel 65L), and my tent (Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 2 Tent). I can’t wait to try them out! I still need to purchase my sleeping bag and sleeping pad, as well as some smaller items. Everything is becoming so real, its crazy to think, that this time next year, I’ll be in Asia!
One big change that has happened is that one country on my route has been changed! Instead of going to Montenegro, we will be going to Serbia! It is still in Europe just a bit more north.
