Hi friends! It has begun!
I have just arrived in Atlanta for launch with my mom and grandma. I will be here for a couple of days for a little bit more training and then will leave with my squad for Lesotho on the 8th. While I am training with my squad, my mom and grandma will be attending their own seminars learning more about the organization, meeting leadership and connecting with other racer’s and specifically, teammates’ parents and families. We will have the opportunity to attend a dinner/ worship night and a lunch/ seminar together. But, those are the only activities that will overlap during our time in Atlanta.
I will be meeting up with my squad tomorrow. For now, I am relaxing in my family’s hotel room and catching up on a few last minute things such as downloading music/ books and checking on updated donation information.
Because of this, I needed to share with you all that I am
FULLY FUNDED!!!!!
I am so grateful and freaking out! The Lord has answered my prayer to be fully funded before the race begins. Thank you SO MUCH to ALL of my prayer partners and financial supporters. 6 months ago, $16,961 seemed like the tallest mountain I had ever seen and I didn’t understand how The Lord was going to get me to the top. I knew He was wanting me to be His hands and feet on the World Race but, I had no idea how He was going to get me there. THANK YOU for being so generous and saying yes when He asked.
Please continue to pray for my team and I as we launch to Lesotho. Pray for healthy bodies, that we would have hearts like Jesus, that we would have ears to be attune to what the Holy Spirit would have us do.
