I’ve always been one who would dream of the future & what it could look like. I would imagine myself doing things most of my friends (at the time) didn’t ever dream of. I was not the girl who dreamt the American dream. Fast forward 4 years later, I’m placed in good ole Texas surrounded by a community of people who not only encourage my dreams but believe in them. Often I would hear, "A door will open Cait, just be patient." Patience. Patience. Patience. It can be a hard thing, ya know? Especially when it something you have dreamt about for SO long, & even more so something Papa has spoken to you about on many occasions. But through patience, comes faith. You are required to lay your dreams at the feet of Jesus (which really is the best place for them) & each day you get to choose to have faith in Him. Faith that He has placed those dreams in your heart for a reason, for a reason greater then you yourself could even fathom. Faith that He is the God who desires His children to live out their dreams. Faith that He does not withhold from His beloved ones. Faith that He Himself loves your dreams.
THEN when you’re not expecting it, He will open a door & say, "Beloved let’s take this journey together, let me show you what I’ve dreamt up for you." At least that’s how it happened for me, :). I was sipping on some coffee, dreaming. Asking Papa when He would allow me to go to the nations, but praising Him for the season I was/am in. Then a soft whisper came, "If you want, you can apply to the world race." I could have fainted, what did He say?! Then I laughed at the way he said it, "If you want," He has a silly personality & I’m positive He was laughing with me :D. Of course I wanted to & I did that very day. The way Papa works in my life, is out of nowhere He will lay something on my heart to do & it will happen very quickly. I apply to the world race, I have my phone interview that same week, then that next week I ffound out I was accepted. BAM, within two weeks a door opened for me to go to the nations. Guess what you guys? One of the countries I will be going to is CHINA! Most of you know, China has been on my heart for years. A place the Lord has spoken to me about on many occasions, a place I knew I would visit one day. Well, Abba is faithful! He not only opened a door to China, but 10 other beautiful countries. To say I’m excited doesn't even cut it.
What countries will I be going? China, S. Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia.
Do I have to raise money, if so how much? I will need to raise 15,500. Yaweh-Yireh! (The Lord will provide!)
When do I leave? January, 2014!
How can you partner with me? Pray & Seek Papa! See what He lays on your heart. If he lays a certain amount on your heart to give, awesome! If he lays it on your heart to buy me something ill need while I am overseas, awesome! (I will be putting up a list of some essential things ill be needing to buy) If you feel Papa asking you to partner with me through prayer, awesome! There are many different ways to partner with me on this journey.
Will there be fundraisers? YES! I am in the process of thinking some up, & getting others started.
