Fundraising is a challenge. A challenge that is exciting, joyous, and one that should be honored. Fundraising is teaching me so much about what it feels like to actually trust the Lord and that he will provide.

Below I am attaching my support letter, an amazing tool for fundraising! Please read the letter to learn more about the race and some of my story. The letter will mention that I have a fundraising goal of $15,800 to reach. Please help me reach this goal by supporting me in prayer and considering making a donation. Every dollar is a blessing I am so grateful for!

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you happy and healthy! I am writing you to share some exciting news. Along with the graduation announcement of my high school education coming to an end, I am also delighted to announce my nine month mission trip with the World Race I will begin this September. The World Race is focused on going and making disciples of the nations, by serving others needs, building relationships, and ultimately loving on those I will encounter on this mission. During the nine months I will be traveling to Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala and Cambodia and will be living out of my backpack. All four of these countries have suffered hardships too graphic to picture and pain far greater than imaginable through famine, lack of clean water and resources, poverty, and even genocide. By living in community and loving these people well, I hope to convey a sense of belonging to them and that they would feel loved, important, heard, comforted, and filled with joy.

I have not had the ordinary high school senior year. Knowing that I wanted to pursue missions, adventure, and spending more time in my passion of child care work, I made the switch to online school through KeyStone Academy, meaning instead of having the traditional graduation I will be finishing up my final studies in this transition before The World Race. This switch gave me the opportunity to work, save up, and take part in my recent travels to Bangladesh and Hawaii with a nonprofit humanitarian organization devoted to giving back called Surfing the Nations. I was blessed to be able to spin around a six year old Myanmar refugee boy during what would be my senior prom and feed 450 people in a single afternoon through our Feeding the Hungry program in Hawaii when I would’ve been participating in my high school spring break beach trips. These trips were self funded and pursued to further chase after my passions of missions work, childcare, as well my relationship with the Lord, and ultimately achieve my goal to learn and grow from different cultures and experiences. I can assure you that my heart was filled through accomplishing those goals, and the love and joy of being apart of something bigger than myself by partaking in missions made me feel so alive and gave me the sense of following the call on my life. This joy is why I cannot wait to begin the World Race.

I would like to invite you personally to be apart of this journey and mission with me and be able to experience the joy and fullness serving, loving one another and being apart of a great mission brings. To make my dream of this nine month mission trip and the spreading of blessings, love, and the message of the gospel possible, I am seeking your support. Prayer is an amazing, powerful source that produces miracles and can make mountains move. Prayers for endurance, boldness, pure hearts, health, patience, wisdom, and to be fully funded for myself and my team are greatly appreciated.

Finances are another huge factor that I am believing for. My fundraising goal is $15,800 which will cover my travel, living, and food expenses for the entire nine months. This may seem like an intimidating amount, but I am thrilled to see how God will move and to experience the generosity and kindness of the incredible friends and family that have been divinely placed in my life. Finances are a resource we have all been blessed with in this nation and they can be used to further the Kingdom and create a lot of good, which is exactly what your donations would be an investment for. Your support will be a blessing to me, and allow me to carry those blessings to the nations. If you would like to support me, donations can be made monthly or at one single time. Please consider giving and know that any amount is greatly, immensely, and incredibly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible!
