For Mature Audiences Only:
I’m ready to see a generation of World Changers stepping up and taking action. I believe that this group I’m heading out with in January is just that. God has been revealing to me that I have a very special testimony. That I have been specifically added to this team for a reason. My experiences and my passions all line up for a greater purpose. I am more than excited to get to be used by our Father!
I’m about to tell you a story. I encourage you to place yourself inside it. You are the main character. This is not a true word for word story that I read or heard. But this is not a far cry. In fact these are ALL pieces of stories I’ve read and pieced together, for what could be someones exact reality. Please don’t read this and think that I’m trying to do anything but OPEN YOUR EYES. I don’t tell this story to make anyone feel bad about themselves, only to hopefully let you see what God is placing on my heart. So, please, open your heart and listen.
Would you leave your home for a job in another state to make more than you could ever dream of making? Before you answer that, take into consideration your family. Your daughter is hungry. Your son is sick. Your spouse left you. Your mother is living with you now, who knows how much longer she can go without proper medical care. This job seems too good to be true, but without it – you might not survive.
One day after seeing a flyer on a telephone pole, you call up this number that promises HIGH WAGES, they want to see your transcripts, they want to fly you over for an interview. This person even wants to send you money in advance, just to get you through the rest of the week until you begin working for him. You’ll be able to visit your family on the weekends. They have a place for you to live and work during the week.
You’re looking at your family as you’re listening to this charismatic man on the phone telling you all about the benefits and wages and what you’re going to be doing. All the while, complimenting you on your information you sent to him. He tells you, you will do well in this company. You are listening and imagining what that could mean for your family. You’re imagining what that could mean for you!
You say yes. You say yes to this Golden Opportunity. Monday Morning rolls around and there is a town car waiting for you outside your home. A smiling man is holding the door open for you. You can see that this is the beginning of your New Life! This is going to fix everything, with that advance you bought food for your family for two weeks and you were able to buy medicine for your son. Your mother is proud of you.
Little do you know your life is going to change FAR more drastically than you were led to believe. After a long drive, the car door is opened by the same pleasant faced man as before. He offers a hand to help you out, you take it and enter the outside world again. You are somewhat startled by your surroundings. You weren’t expecting to be treated like royalty, but maybe something a little less seedy and creepy.
There are hundreds of scantily clad men and women on this street. The man smiles at you and says, “Welcome home, this is your new factory job.” with a sense of sarcasm. You panic. Should you try to run? Is this real? Is this dude messing with you? Before you have time to think he’s stuck your neck with a needle and you no longer have the energy to protest. The worst part is – you’re not completely knocked out. You can’t feel anything. You can’t move. You can’t hear anything, but you can see.
You watch as he and another figure pick you up and drag you into a dark building. First you walk into what looks like a home office. There is a man in a suit, much like the man who picked you up. He looks at you and says something but you can’t hear a sound. He looks pleased. You’re soon hoisted back up on someones shoulder and before you know it you’re in a bright room sitting in what looks like a dentists chair.
You sit there for what seems like hours. You fall asleep.
You wake up. Maybe all that was just a dream. Your arm is tender. Maybe you slept on it wrong. You reach for your pocket, you’re no longer wearing pants. That’s weird. You look around. Who are these people? Why is there a number on your arm? Its branded on your skin. Someone branded you, like a farmer would brand his livestock. You now belonged to someone else. You are merely a possession. Modern day slavery.

There is no waiting, either. Sex sells. You have been sold. They throw you into the street. Your first customer is nice. He lets you lay down, does his thing. Leaves. 5 minutes later – Your second customer is not so nice. He throws you around. Leaves bruises. Forces you to do things no amount of money in the world could ever make you THINK about doing. He spits on you and leaves. By the third round you no longer feel, you can hardly even see. You are no longer a human being.

You get up. You walk back to your post and sit down. You are exhausted. You are bleeding. You look ragged. A woman approaches you. She whispers “come with me”, she leads you down an alley and into a room where there are some people just like you sitting against walls. She takes you to the sink. You are so grateful to her for helping you. You begin to thank her and she scolds you. “Do not speak.” She washes the dirt from your hands and the smudged makeup off your face. She reapplies makeup and pats down your disheveled hair. She then douses you in some foreign perfume and throws you back onto the street and slams the door behind you.
This is your reality.
This doesn’t strike a chord with you? Imagine that THAT was the reality for your mother, for your brother, for your best friend. Because this happens every single day. This happens all the time for someones mother, brother, sister, aunt, cousin…
EVERY SECOND. It’s happening right now. Wake Up! This is absolutely 100% real. Sex Trafficking is a booming industry. These women and men and children are victims. They are either threatened, have nowhere else to go or they just don’t know what to do. No one deserves to be placed into this life. Yes, Some people do enter it, willingly. That does not make them any LESS of a victim. The emotional and alot of times physical damage is so great that many will take years (if ever) to recover.
I’m sorry if this was offensive to anyone, I just want to make it clear that I have been called to a very specific purpose and this is it. God has placed these victims on my heart. Their stories need to be heard. Human Beings across the world have the same basic desires.

To be known.
To be Loved.
It has been revealed to me that I am supposed to share their stories, to make them known. To wake up our sleeping world. To make things right. To tell them that they are loved. To tell them about the sweet sweet love of our Saviour and what he has done for me. To tell them that they can have that too. To tell them that they DESERVE it.
Thank you for your time and please take a moment to pray for these souls and our world.
