Hi from the Philippines, UGH gosh I can’t believe I am saying that. I have raised over $12000. LIKE WHAT. This means I have less than $6000 to go. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me get this far.

Our squad was blessed with an incredible 12-hour layover in LA, where we were able to explore Manhattan beach. This was in fact my first time on the west coast. Like how cool that this was my last memory in America for the next 11 months. We said goodbye to a beautiful sunset before boarding the plane for a 14-hour flight.

After a short layover in Taiwan, we had a another flight before we finally landed in Manilla around noon. We were greeted by our host and uncomfortably jammed 11 of us in a space that should’ve fit 5. Upon arriving to our home for the month, I was BLOWN AWAY.

God has immensely blessed us this month. My team has the opportunity to work alongside another team for the month doing the same ministry. Not only that, but our home has things I thought I said bye to in America.

And this took some adjusting.

But because this feels so comfortable, it forces me to be more intentional with my time and not allow myself to fall into what is easy, but to pray for what is best for those around me.

I’ve had more time with God now than I have had in a long time. But for some reason, I felt disconnected from what was in front of me. I had a hard time finding comfort in what used to be comfortable because I thought I wasn’t going to have it anymore.

But then I was greeted by this sunset.

God reminded me that no matter where I am, it’s not my situation that I need to be comfortable with but to be comfortable in HIS presence.

SO MUCH LOVE,

B
