God’s timing is impeccable. I don’t think we can even imagine how precise and perfect He is. When I think of God’s perfect timing, I think of Brynna Hilton.
Hi Brynna’s friends and family! My name is Hannah Greene and some of ya’ll may actually know me, but most of you don’t! I am going on the World Race as one of Brynna’s squad mates and I am so beyond excited to start this adventure with her!
I attended Central Michigan University for 4 years, and for 3.5 years I was never friends with Brynna. I never knew that she was in the same major as me, nor did I know she was such an amazing person. It was one day when I was in Organic Chemistry class that I stumbled upon such a lovely person.
Now little does Brynna know that during this time in my life I was really struggling. I was struggling with friendships and family issues, and for almost a year I prayed for a friend to come into my life at CMU that knew Jesus and could love me well.
God gave me Brynna Hilton.
I finally had someone up at school that I could relate to and connect with about Jesus that I had never been able to connect with like that before. Brynna showed me way more than friendship. She showed me strength, courage, and optimism. She showed me that regardless of your situation, you don’t have to be afraid. This is when she showed me her plans to go on the World Race. I was so taken back…so afraid. I knew God was showing me something through her, but I didn’t know it would be something as big as this. Some of you may not know Brynna very well, but I’m about to tell you why she is so valuable to this trip.
I was afraid to go on the World Race and Brynna showed me how God can take those fears and turn them into strengths. Brynna was such an encouragement in my life. She chose to be my friend every single day and loved me through all my fears and all my struggles. She loved me when I was happy and she loved me when I was upset.
If I had one word to describe Brynna, it would be strong. And strength is a very very important quality that is needed for this trip.
Everyone has a gift, and Brynna’s gift is to stay strong and be a pillar for others. Her gift is to support and encourage and to show love through her strength in loving the Lord. This is why the Lord chose her to go on this World Race. Orphans, prostitutes, the sick, the elderly, the young, they all need Brynna’s strength. They need to know how strong God is for them through Brynna. Not only do they need Brynna, but I need Brynna to be a pillar for our team.
