My story is no more important than yours just because I’m serving around the world. God asks something different from all of us but that doesn’t take away from our worth.

One of my favorite parts of the race has been listening to what others are walking through and being there for them through it. God put it on my heart to share some of my friend’s stories with you from America.

Everything we’re walking through has a purpose. God is guiding us through all seasons. He has conquered all that is behind you and gone before you for what’s to come. Trust in Him every day and ask what he has in store for you when you depend on him more. He wants you to say Yes to Him everyday.

Hello all,

This month Brynna asked me to open up a little about my faith and because she’s been the biggest impact on this aspect of my life I couldn’t say no!

Starting in college, I began to put my faith life on the back burner. I put friends, going out, studying, and other things before my faith and unfortunately that routine has carried on throughout my post-grad life. I have gotten so caught up in the everyday craziness that I often forget to stop, look around, and notice all of God’s greatest blessings.

Thankfully, one of my best friends decided to follow her heart and follow God and travel the world and share all of life’s blessings she’s had the opportunity to encounter. Because of Brynna’s bravery in embarking on the world race, I have had the opportunity to grow in my faith life due to her constant prayers, words of encouragement, and weekly checkups.

Since the beginning of 2019, my fiancé and I have purchased a house, spend nearly every weekend working on said house, continue to plan for our wedding, and both have been struggling with our careers and deciding where we want to be in the upcoming year. To put it lightly, all of these exciting things can feel so, so heavy at times.

God, through Brynna, has constantly reminded me to press pause and not get caught up in life’s revolving door. God has taught me to take a deep breath in and walk through this time in my life rather than sprint through it. He has told me to be patient in my career goals so that I can discover what my calling is and where I can make the greatest impact on people’s lives. He has taught me that although I have been distant, he has always been there. He has pushed me to find my faith life once again and fill the emptiness I didn’t know how to fill.

A few months ago, Brynna sent me a Catholic Journaling Bible from across the world, and because of this, I have begun to dive into Gods teachings and take time to listen. My faith life is something that has always been an up and down struggle for me, and I know I need to continue to work at it in order to get the most out of not only my prayer life but all other aspects of my life as well.

I cannot thank Brynna enough for impacting my life so so much these last 7 months. I never thought someone could touch my heart from across the world but she somehow manages to do it every week. Because of her, I have been able to find God again.
