Hello! As I’m sure by you making it this far in my blog you have found out that I decided to go on a mission trip! I graduated early last year with plans of going into an electrician apprenticeship program right after graduating. I had it all figured out, or at least I thought I did but God decided he had different plans for me. I felt guided to graduate last year for reasons that all faded away with the Coronavirus. So since all my plans had been changed I started looking into other job and or career options but I didn’t feel God calling me to those options right away. So I prayed about it a lot and I began looking into other ways that I could serve instead of focusing on my personal goals. Then the idea of a mission trip hit me. I felt God’s guidance with this decision so after a lot of prayer I decided to make the decision to go on this mission trip!
Our plan for this mission trip is, we will go to three different countries Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica. Right now the only country we had for sure plans on going is Nicaragua due to travel restrictions because of COVID 19. But hopefully lord willing we will be able to go to the other 2 countries as well. Our first stop in Nicaragua we will be primarily focused on kids ministry, evangelism and manual labor. In Honduras we will be working in kids ministry as well as special needs ministry. Finally in Costa Rica we will be working in agriculture, manual labor, kids ministry and evangelism.
I am very excited about this trip and for the ability to spread the gospel in another country! I would greatly appreciate prayers for me and the others going on this trip. Pray that we will be prepared and ready for all the opportunities that God gives us to present the gospel. So that we may effectively evangelize to all the people we come across.
