Friends, family, supporters, donors and any new friend who comes across this blog post… I want you to meet MY TEAM!
For the last three months I’ve been immensely blessed to have these 5 other cool cats with me. For the last month, we have had the fabulous dani [our squad content manager] with us!
I wanted to take the time to introduce you to my World Race family- the Unsoundables!
Meet MATTHEW:
Age: 28
Lives: in Virginia
Loves: farming, photography and dad jokes.
Occupation: Sales

He is the kind of guy you meet and then find out five minutes later that you’re having a coffee date, you have best friend bracelets and you have plans for next week. He’s so approachable and loves getting to know people! We are so thankful to have a go-getter like him on our team.
Meet ALLIE:
Age: 23
Lives: in Oklahoma
Loves: coffee, adventuring and TCU
Occupation: Registered Dietician
Famous quote: “GUYS, I need to order another coffee.”
She is undoubtably the most giving and honest friend you’ll find. She loves taking time to listen and she will always give a straightforward answer. She follows her heart, even if it leads to her to an unhealthy addiction to caffeine. We love her so and we’re so thankful for her drive to make things happen!
Meet SYLVIA:
Age: 24
Lives: in Illinois
Loves: Oreo milkshakes, fun headbands and 1:1s
Occupation: Special Needs Teacher

She’s the kind of person where if you look away for one second, you’ll find her with 3 to 4 kids climbing and hanging off her arms. She has been asked on multiple occasions if she would take someone’s children home with her to America. She also is the best listener not just on our team but on our whole squad! We know we were lucky when we scored and got her spunk on our team!
Meet JONATHAN:
Age: 29
Lives: in Michigan
Loves: Hiking, chocolate chip cookies and laughing
Occupation: Camp Counselor
Famous quote: “That’s something you wouldn’t say in Michigan.”
This guys has an innate gift of contagious laughter. You could be biking across a bridge about to die from exhaustion and he would laugh at you and you actually would laugh back! He knows how to be inclusive with everyone and he always has a sense of optimism. He challenges our group to think deeply and we are thankful for the growth he has contributed to! Oh… and we always have to mention, he has hiked the Appalachian trail in its entirety!
Meet BRYCE:
Age: 24
Lives: in Tennessee
Loves: any type, size, flavor of cookies, hockey and his beautiful wife 😉
Occupation: Chiropractic Therapy Assistant

Well… hopefully you already know this, but he is my HUBZ. I’ve been dating this guy for over six years, and we’ve been married for almost 2 1/2. This guy is a fantastic leader, only because he leads by example. He’s the kind of guy you find picking up trash just because it’s the right thing to do, not because anyone asked him to. He’s also the guy who loves cat videos, exploring and making jokes for everything! I like to think he’s also the most attractive teammate of mine! [back off, I can say that!!]
Meet dani [she doesn’t do all caps!]:
Age: 32
Lives: in Illinois
Loves: making friends with strangers, vlogging and random dance parties
Occupation: Squad Content Manager

She is the type of girl that EVERYONE wants to be friends with. She understands how to approach everyone and she loves speaking what’s truly going on in her head [which is mostly the hilarious truth!]. She also has the gift of discerning what you really need to hear, when you need it. You can always count on her to be the most joyful gal in the room and we feel so grateful that she got to do life with US this month!

I honestly would not have had as much fun, as much growth and as much joy without these wonderful people!
