God is still M O V I N G after such a powerful training camp. We just had a stranger who is a missionary in Uganda donate to our trip?!
Story time…..
Yesterday, while Jacob, Bryce and I were stopping at Chick Fil A on the way back from training camp I received a call from a number in Franklin. I answered unknowingly. It was someone responding to my Craigslist ad for my old phone, posted 17 days ago. They said they needed this phone ASAP for their friend in Uganda and that they could meet tomorrow. So… with nothing to lose, we met them today at their church. [super rare for Craigslist!]
After meeting them we found out that it was this newly married couple buying this phone for their missionary friend, Oliver, who lives in Uganda. They said Oliver found this ad overseas and felt the Lord saying that my ad was the right one and that he needed to buy ours specifically. They ended up buying our phone and we exchanged the news that we were headed overseas as well.
How crazy is that?? The Lord prompted Oliver to buy this phone from us? From the people who need $15,000 more for their mission trip?
Bryce and I just looked at each other in awe. It seems as though our funds come in little by little… but God is using each donation to really show how much he cares. He is giving us the opportunity to meet some amazing people and to get the chance to feel support from all over the world. Thank you Jesus!!
