I am blessed beyond belief.
The job. The family. The friends. I couldn’t ask for anything better!
But still, I feel restless. Like I’m not doing what I’m called to. Over the past several months the Lord has taught me that I can not be in complete fellowship with Him until I completely surrender my life.
The opportunity of the World Race excites me like no other! I’ll be traveling with a group of other missionaries to 11 countries in 11 months. In each country we will be working with local organizations. My ministry could look different every place we go. I could be visiting the elderly in the hospital or putting on a VBS. It really can vary!
Besides all of the obvious things to be excited about, I can not wait to be in fellowship with other Christians my age. Judging by other blogs and Facebook posts, the group I’ll be going with is on FIRE for the Lord. Everyone with a unique story and skills to make our team diverse and exciting! I wait in anticipation to be challenged, to learn and to have so much fun.
Please pray for me while I’m in the beginning stages of fundraising. God is a good and generous God. I’m so confident that the Lord is and has been working in the hearts of my supporters for some time. At the same time, it’s impossible to ignore the numbers. Pray for continued confidence and peace as this journey grows nearer.
