In honor of it being Thanksgiving week, here are a few things I’m thankful for:

  1. The desire to pursue a relationship with Christ instead of having to force myself into it.
  2. Family.
  3. Friends old and new.
  4. English menus in non English-speaking countries.
  5. The opportunity to explore new places.
  6. My eno.
  7. Puppies.
  8. Yellow.
  9. Running water and flushing toilets.
  10. WIFI.
  11. Community.
  12. Meat – that’s not a mystery.
  13. Freedom.
  14. Facetime.
  15. Music.
  16. Inside jokes.
  17. Accents.
  18. Laughing.
  19. Agua con gas.
  20. Tarantulas that are chopped in half. Dead. Right where they belong.
  21. Fans.
  22. Movie theaters.
  23. Challenges- for growth.

Next week we head to Bolivia. We have a very long bus ride ahead- possibly 30some hours. My team will be doing ministry deep in the Amazon rainforest. I’m not exactly sure what it will look like, but we will be trekking – with all the critters. It’s going to be fine.

Please pray for safety and a posture of receiving from the people we will be ministering to.
