The time has come. Launch! I arrived safely to Atlanta yesterday. I got to come a day early to do some leadership training. I’m the squad safety coordinator. Safety is a figment of imagination; wisdom and discernment are from the Lord 🙂 – Katie. I will be a contact person for incidents and crisis situations and also encourage and promote a culture of safe choices and decision-making.
Tonight our whole squad gets to reunite and spend time in worship and prayer in preparation for the year ahead. We will have training sessions over the next few days before we fly out.
I’ve felt every emotion there is over the past week. So many goodbyes, my heart was literally hurting. I’ve been overwhelmed and stressed. Mostly though, excited and at peace. There is nothing I want more than to follow the plans the Lord has for me. He has confirmed over and over that they will be much more beneficial than mine could ever be.
On Tuesday we take off to Santiago, Chile where we will be working in the city with children. More info to come on that!
THANK YOU for all of your prayers, financial support and encouraging words to help me get to this place.
So much love! List of countries: Chile Argentina Bolivia Cambodia Thailand Serbia Romania Bulgaria Ethiopia Rwanda Uganda
