My new squad and I are all settled in Swaziland, Africa. The plan is to stay Here for the next few months! The plan from there is to go to Nepal/India for 3 months and Guatemala until May!
Swaziland is a very poverty stricken country with one of the highest rates of HIV/AIDS diagnoses in the world. There is a desperate need for the hope, peace and love offered only through Christ.
I am leading a group of 18-20 year olds. Their passion, heart for worship, Willingness to serve, boldness and excitement to spread the gospel is such an encouragement to me. I’ve loved being able to share experiences from my race, things the Lord has walked me through and lots of laughs with them. Its been A pleasure to encourage them to step out of their comfort zones while Living in community, doing ministry and pursuing intimacy with the Lord.
We are working with care points all arond the city providing entertainmemt, food and the Love of Jesus to local children. Please continue to pray for us. Our one desire is to be exactly what the Lord called us to be- a light In the world.
