Family and Friends,
I still can not fully grasp the reality of what may enter my life in the next year. I will be leaving for the adventure of a lifetime – 3 countries, 9 months, and one unforgettable journey. My heart begins to race every time I imagine the wild places I could be waking up in the next couple of months. However, the thing that gets my heart and spirit jumping more than anything, is the unknown mysteries that God has planned for my heart and the world.
Many of you have asked, “What is the Race?”
Some ask, “What will you be doing?” And some even ask, “How can I help?”
In simplest of words, the Race is an Adventure. I will be guided through the Holy Spirit to leave my comfort zone and familiar surroundings, in order to spread the Gospel in various forms of ministry. For each country, ministry may look very different. Often times my group will not know what we are doing right up until we begin to travel to the next country. Sometimes not even knowing until we get to the country itself. The beauty in this? The World Race looks different for everyone, and God can fuel these different experiences for the glory of His kingdom. Take a few minutes to watch the clip at the bottom of the screen, and get a glimpse of my life for the next 9 months:
Now, here is where you come in. The two major ways I need your support is through prayer and financial aid.
To complete the Race, I need to raise a total of $12, 488. I’m already $10,082 dollars in toward my goal, and literally anything given is an incredible blessing.
This financial support is important, but your prayers are what I truly ask for. God is going to be doing unimaginable things during the Race, and my squad mates and I will be in need of lots of prayer coverage as we share His love around the world.
Jesus is the most important thing in my life, and I would not be here without Him. The second most important thing in my life is people. The beauty from a sunrise, the gentle crash of the ocean waves, and the livening scent from a pine forest would never mean as much to me without friends and family by my side. I love everyone who will be reading this post more than you will ever know, and I thank you greatly for wanting to be apart of this journey with me.
