HI EVERYONE!!!
Sorry it has been such a long time since my last blog but there has been a lot going on and God has been doing some awesome things as always.
Currently we are living in San Salvador with a pastor in Teen Challenge named Oscar who is 31 years old and loves the Lord and loves life. He is so much fun and is always filled with joy. We also have been housing our translator who is a student/leader at Teen Challenge named Carlos. Carlos has been such an amazing help to our group not just in helping us know what Oscar and others are trying to say to us but also in keeping our eyes as a group fixed on the Lord in the midst of plans changing.
Things my team (Hineni) has been doing
-Street Evangelism: doing skits in the middle of a happinen park.
-Radio: speaking on a national radio program through a church.
-Speaking in churches: Nuff said
-Putting on Youth events
-Praying and traveling all over the place.
Cool story
God blessed me with a chance to preach to those who are in Teen Challenge here in San Salvador. A little background though – Teen Challenge is a program that works with boys and men who are addicted to substances and want to get their lives together. It is Christian lead and focussed on the Word of God and discipline as being the means of transformation. It’s a great place where the presence of God is laid on thick. The first time my team walked into the house where all the students live we felt such a strong peace and joy in our midst. So…
I was praying before that God would use my words to penetrate the hearts of the students there and God did. I was asking the Lord what He’d have me say and it was clear that the one thing I am here to do on this race is to make Jesus Christ known. So I decided to talk about the Gospel. After I spoke we had a time of worship and a teen chose to trust Christ with His life. Then our translator Carlos spoke briefly about how he wanted to be baptized and it ignited God’s flame even more in that place and they started passing around a piece of paper for all those that wanted to be baptized as well. Three others signed up real quick after Carlos spoke. It was awesome.

Fun Game
This is a video of Carlos and I playing a game called “This is so much fun.” There is a leader and a follower and the object of the game is to get the follower to laugh any way possible. The follower has to mimic every move the leader does. Carlos was leading. You’ll see what happens.
