It has been a rough first week to say the least. For starters, I was sick for the first 2-3 days with junk coming out both ends. (sorry) It was some of the worst few nights of my life because i was so sick and so uncomfortable. But don’t worry! things are better now. It has its ups and downs but im hanging in there. we have had some trouble with some logistical things as well and that is never fun. It could have been just some miscommunication. I have had a tough time with my host. I don’t think that he is a “Typical WR Host”. He has never hosted more that 3 people and he also is not a faith based organization. I expected to be uncomfortable but not like this. no electricity, no WIFI, no running water, no privacy. But the worst part is that we have yet to do actual ministry and thats what is sad. It’s not easy but it’s what God has called me to! It’s not all bad, we get some pretty awesome tea in the mornings and at night. There is also some stuff called chapatti that is awesome. It’s like a tortilla but fried in oil. The scenery is beautiful and there are animals everywhere. Please pray for me and our team as we are driving this struggle bus that we call World Race month 1. I know that this is short but we are an hour from WIFI and we are not here for long. Much love and War Eagle!
