As I am writing this blog, I am sitting in a cold drafty arena surrounded by different tables of treasures. The Lil’ Bit of Everything Sale in Powell, Wyoming is just a small Craft Fair put on by the city where anyone and everyone will find something they cannot live without. Behind me, a lady sits with handmade baby bassinets, in front, a table raising awareness for Wyoming Disabled Hunters plus a gun raffle, and on either side of me sit two young girls, who, just like me, are trying to raise support for an adventure of a lifetime. One of the girls is headed out in July for a 4-H exchange program. The other is wanting to go to El Salvador for two weeks for a school trip. I, of course, am sitting selling bracelets, buttons, and stickers for my 11n11 trip coming up in October.

Quick Story: Threads of Hope is an awesome organization that provides income for children and families in the Philippines. This organization gives people the opportunity to build a better life and stay away from difficult situations, such as prostitution or human trafficking. Each bracelet that I am selling is handmade by people in the Philippines. 50% of the proceeds made off of the bracelets goes right back to them and the other 50% goes towards my trip.

Now, back to my point, why am I telling you this? Well, I have noticed that every person who walks by is interested in all three of our tables, making me extremely nervous that my table may not be good enough. However, once each person learns where the money is going to, they all seem to be coming back to my table. No matter if they are Believers or not, they seem to want to put their money towards my cause.
With that being said, I want to make sure you all understand that I am not boasting about my income. I am simply making a point that people still want to do good even if they do not believe in God. They still want to support His workers and make sure that the world is becoming a better place, even if they are not the ones specifically carrying that good out. Is that not the coolest thing? God is SO good that He literally makes people want to be and do Good. His goodness literally wears off on people. God originally created His children to be perfect, just like Him. And even though sin engulfs this world, God is still bigger and shows up in so many different ways.
