Dear Friends & Family,
I want to start by saying thank you for all the love and support you have shown my family these past few months.The loss of my dad has been devastating and more than ever I with he were here to be a part of what God is doing next in my life. However, I am thankful that I have people like you in my life who share my passion for seeing the love of Christ spread throughout the world.
In 2008, I feel in love with the country and people of Nicaragua. The hunger for the Lord that I witnessed there and their resilience and passion for Him, were all things that have left a lasting impression on me. It impacted me so much that I’ve been back every year since. As the years go by, the Lord has deepened a burden in my heart for Nicaragua, orphans, Spanish culture, and mission, That burden has led my to this point.
This January, I will be serving as a missionary in a program called The World Race through Adventures in Missions. I will be traveling to 11 different countries in 11 months, carrying everything on my back (literally…all I can take is a backpack)! The best part is that I will be ministering in all Spanish-speaking countries. The opportunity to learn Spanish will be invaluable in the future to reach the people the Lord has placed on my heart. We will partner with many different organizations along the journey, sharing the gospel, planting churches, working in orphanages, feeding the hungry, teacher children with special needs, and sharing a showing God’s love with the people of each country.
I am excited that God has chosen me! I have heard many times from the pulpit that, “There are those that are supposed to go, and those that are supposed to stay by the stuff.” I know I am supposed to go. I am asking for your partnership in making this possible. The first and most important way to support this endeavor would be to pray for the ministry I will be participating in. I am going to some of the most remote areas of Latin America and will be encountering things that will require God’s strength to help us succeed. The second way that I’m prayerfully requesting your support in to help financially. The total cost of the trip is $14,285, which will cover all expenses.
I appreciate your consideration in supporting and partnering with me. I am anxious to see what God is going to do in this next year of my life and in the lives of the people we will encounter. I pray that God will bless you for supporting the spread of the gospel throughout the world.
