Our team has made it safe to our 6th country, Panama. The weather is hot and humid and the surrounding rain forest is always wet with the daily downpours.

This month we are assigned to work with YWAM and some neighboring ministries. So far we have worked on the grounds and are scheduled to do some prison ministry and a radio broadcast this week.

Two times a week there is worship scheduled for everyone on base. A couple of my teammates have participated and the the staff and students lead as well. It a beautiful time spent worshipping our Creator and something I look forward to.

Besides the fact that the musicians and singers are impressively talented,(they even have a girl who came in 2nd place for Panamanian Idol) everything is done bilingual. A verse is spanish flows right into a chorus in English and then one singer belts out the bridge in spanish while the other softly translates behind in English. It’s a beautiful combination that makes my heart smile.

During these worship sessions I cant help but imagine what Heaven must sound like. I am only experiencing 2 languages but what about when you add in Russian, Portuguese, Swahili, Dutch, French, Mandarin, and all the other languages. What a glorious sound to hear all the beautiful tongues praising the same God. I can’t wait!

its amazing to think that all over this world there are believers walking this journey I’m on along with me. They might speak a different language, they might call him a different name, and even worship differently than I do, but we are all serving the same Father!

Psalm 86:9-10
All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.
