So as you guys have read in my previous blog, I have not been able to hear from the Lord until last year when I started seeking his voice. Today the Lord confirmed my spiritual gift!! Giving words of affirmation to people through listening to God.
I was doing a devotion this morning and I heard the Lord say, I want you to give words of affirmation to my squad mate http://connorquick.theworldrace.org/ So I started praying about what he wanted me to tell him. I got an image of a red string that made no sense to me but I put it in my letter anyway. Then I gave it to him. After that, we went to the church to worship and I had prayed that God would send me someone to speak life into me. The church service was all about praying and prophesying. My other teammate http://bernadettebeacham.theworldrace.org/ said that she saw me drawing beautiful words on a piece of pottery and that writing was a gift of mine. Those words confirmed this spiritual gift. Conner then said in the church that he had lost his rosary that he uses to pray. The red string had represented his backup rosary and God was speaking to him and giving him a sign.
It’s so funny and amazing that God knows what we need and want even if it is small. He knows what is going on and uses people to speak to us. God keeps surprising me and teaching me new things as I walk with him!
