The Lord has been working in my life, even on my days off. We went to Greece to explore, which is something God used to speak to me about what it feels like to be free. This summer, I was not in the place I wanted to be with God. I got caught up in problems of my own life. I so badly wanted some fun and to just be free from responsibility. God saw my heart and my desires. He gave me that joy I was looking for; A joy that only comes from him. I felt so alive in the moments that we got to be in his amazing creation. Our team swam in the Mediterranean Sea and went cliff jumping. We ate croissants filled with Nutella and amazing baked European pastries. We had deep conversations and got to know each other better. God gave me the rest and fun that I needed to be refilled this week. This is a new side of God I got to experience; a God who loves me so tenderly. A God who knows my needs and provides for them.
