Just a quick little update for you guys! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what’s next, so I figured I’d post it on here! The race ends in 7 days, and then I’m back at home, though not nearly the same person I was when I left. This summer I’m looking forward to spending a lot of time with my family and friends, as well as getting back to work at my local hardware store. I’m also planning on leading a group in VBS this summer, which I’m super excited about.
This fall I’ll be heading to the University of Northern Iowa! I’m going to major in Criminology, which is something I’ve been passionate about for years. I’m not sure what the plan is after that, but I know I’m not ready to be done with mission work. If there’s one thing the race taught me it’s to live in the moment, so that’s what I’ll be doing. I have no doubt the Lord has something great planned for me after college, so until He reveals that, I’m not going to worry about it.
So there’s that! I have a lot of dreams for my future, far too many to write down here, but feel free to reach out or ask me about them in person! Back in Georgia the Lord taught me to dream big and pray big prayers, and I’d love to share that with you guys.
With love,
Brook
