We have been in Nepal for a week of debrief to relax and process our month in India. Nepal is gorgeous and it has been so amazing getting to explore Kathmandu. A few of my team mates and I were walking around the city shopping when a little girl came up to us and wanted to take us to her family’s store. They were a Muslim family who invited us to sit down and talk with them. We got to get to know a little bit about their lives and they gave us some common Nepal snacks that were delicious. Then we shared our purpose in coming to Nepal and they were really interested in what we had to say. I come from a different background and religion than them, yet they showed so much love to me and I have been blown away by how God has put people in my life on this journey to establish a relationship with.

Even though we have this week off, and we have no scheduled ministry time yet, it doesn’t mean there isn’t an opportunity for ministry. I have learned that ministry isn’t just something you schedule. An opportunity to share the love of Christ with someone can be found anywhere and as Christians we should show that love to people all the time, no matter the place, no matter the person and with no judgment of where they come from. Ministry is a lifestyle that is shown through our actions and conversations with people we meet. Our job is to share the beauty of the gospel with people at any moment.
